He grabbed a vulnerable man by the neck, stabbed him in the thigh, then made off with his Cartier watch...now this thug has been jailed for 12 years

A violent thug has been locked up for 12 years for subjecting vulnerable people to a series of terrifying robberies across Wythenshawe.

Daniel Kavanagh, 31, attacked two victims, stabbing one man in the thigh and throwing a female pensioner to the ground, in a bid to steal their belongings.

Kavanagh and his accomplice, Letitia Kavanagh, 29, first targeted a house on Maismore Road in February this year.

The 63-year-old male victim, known to Letitia, opened the front door and allowed her to use his bathroom.

As he did so, Daniel Kavanagh let himself in and grabbed the man by the neck, squeezing his wind pipe, before stabbing him to the thigh with an unknown object.
