A jealous thug blamed a month long catalogue of domestic violence on his girlfriend's decision to abort her child.
Jayden Knight, 27, who said the decision affected his mental health, has now been locked up for 22 months.
During the several incidents, Knight spat at the woman and pulled her trousers down, as well as attacking her.
He also threw a can of lager over her, and 'forced her to lap up' a drink from the floor 'like a dog'.
Judge Elizabeth Nicholls told Knight, who has previous convictions in relation to other former partners: "You are a liability in the context of domestic violence."

Knight, from Middleton, admitted four offences of battery, one of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and three of criminal damage, which happened at their home in north Manchester between December 5 last year and January 8 this year.
Manchester Crown Court heard that the couple first began their relationship in August last year.
The woman, a mother in her 20s, became pregnant in October and decided she didn't wish to keep the baby, after which Knight became 'aggressive and abusive', prosecutor David Lees said.
The offences were committed on five separate occasions within the month.
In the first incident in December, Knight spat at her while she was in the bath, but missed her body.
He told her 'I'm going to terrorise you' and was shouting at her.
Knight demanded to know where her phone was, and he started looking through her messages.
He put his thumb to her eye and said 'I'm going to kill you', and pinned her down.
Shortly after, he punched a hole in a door.
In another incident, he called her a 'daft slag', spat in her face and threw a can of lager over her.

On December 31, Knight told her it was 'going to be the worst New Year's ever', and threw a drink over her.
After forcing her to the floor, he then told her to 'lick it up like a dog'.
He had become jealous after seeing messages she had received from a male friend, calling her a 'slag' and a 'rat'.
Then in January, he grabbed her, slapped her and punched her three times to the body. She asked him to leave, but he refused.
On January 8, Knight pulled her trousers down and called her an 'ugly bi***', before sitting on her chest and assaulting her.
He was arrested, and at first denied any wrongdoing.
In a statement read to the court, the woman said her self esteem was affected by Knight 'constantly putting me down'.
She said she left her home, and only returned after Knight had been remanded in custody.
Defending, Paul Bryning said Knight accepted his crimes were 'appalling offences', and that he is 'thoroughly ashamed' and 'full of remorse'.
Mr Bryning said that her decision to abort the child was 'something that affected his (Knight's) mental health'.
Judge Nicholls said the woman's physical injuries were thankfully 'not serious', but described Knight's behaviour as 'humiliating', 'degrading' and 'frightening'.
The judge accepted Knight, of Seatoller Drive, Middleton, had a 'dysfunctional upbringing' but said he needs help to 'address the underlying issues' of his behaviour.
