'He couldn't deal with Mason Mount' - Bristol City player ratings as Derby deal huge blow to Robins' play-off hopes

Niki Maenpaa - 6

Came back into the team after a spell out through injury and made some decent saves. One crucial stop to keep out Bradley Johnson.

Jack Hunt - 6

Up and down the right throughout - although it was an up and down performance.

Jay Dasilva - 6

Spent most of the time in and around the Derby penalty area. Constantly created chances and will be wondering how one of them didn’t go in.

Tomas Kalas - 6

Wasn’t really tested at the back and couldn’t do a lot about either of the goals.

Nathan Baker - 5

Couldn’t deal with Mason Mount for the opening goal. Went off injured after half an hour.

Adam Webster - 7

City’s Player of the Season was imperious as usual. Seamlessly slotted into a back four after Baker went off injured.

Lee Johnson brings back a familiar face for Bristol City's crunch Championship clash against Derby County

Josh Brownhill - 7

A lot of long-range efforts that tested Kelle Roos in the Derby goal. A good performance and unlucky not to find the back of the net.

Marlon Pack - 6

A solid performance in the centre of midfield and played some gorgeous passes into Weimann.

Jamie Paterson - 7

One of his best games this season and he was influential in most things that City did going forward.

Andi Weimann - 7

Just like Paterson, Weimann put in a great performance but just couldn’t find a goal. Some great runs and hit the crossbar in the second-half.

Bristol City's youngsters officially the best in the league - how they compare to Aston Villa, Leeds United and the rest of the Championship

Famara Diedhiou - 6

Did well with his usual hold-up play but no goal for the Senegalese striker. That’s now just one goal in ten games.

Substitutes

Antoine Semenyo - 5

Didn’t see much of the ball but looked impressive when he did. Was sent off for a reckless challenge on the hour mark.

Niclas Eliasson - 5

Added a bit of energy and electricity when he came on but couldn’t stop the defeat.

Is Adam Webster the midfield general Bristol City need to stop Derby County?

Kasey Palmer - 5

Similarly to Eliasson, looked exciting when brought on but was given an impossible task to turn around the 2-0 deficit.
