HDFC Bank revises Regalia Gold lounge access benefits: Check new airport lounge access and reward points changes

HDFC Bank has revised the rules for HDFC Regalia Gold Credit Card regarding domestic airport lounge access by adding a spending requirement. Under the revised rules, cardholders need to meet a minimum spending threshold in the previous calendar quarter to keep enjoying complimentary access to domestic airport lounges.

The bank has also made it clear that there won’t be any voucher-based lounge access under the new system.

The new rule will take effect from the calendar quarter starting July 1, 2026.

What is the new lounge access rule?

Starting July 1, 2026, customers will be entitled to three complimentary visits to domestic airport lounges per calendar quarter, but only if they spend at least Rs 60,000 in the preceding calendar quarter using their eligible HDFC Bank credit card.

For example, if a cardholder wants to access airport lounges during the July–September 2026 quarter, they must spend Rs 60,000 or more during the April–June 2026 quarter.

How can HDFC Bank credit card holders use the domestic lounge benefit programme?

Eligible customers can directly swipe their HDFC Bank credit card at participating airport lounges once the spending condition is met.

International Priority Pass lounge rules

HDFC Bank has said that the international lounge access benefit through Priority Pass will remain unchanged. Customers will still enjoy six complimentary international lounge visits each year without any spending criteria.

The programme allows customers to enjoy any two complimentary benefits on uploading their boarding pass in a calendar quarter.
