HBO Harry Potter series star says starring in adaptation is ‘pinch-me moment’

Katherine Parkinson has been cast as Molly Weasley in the upcoming Harry Potter HBO series.
She described her new role as a "pinch-me experience" and expressed delight at seeing the world she imagined from the books come to life.
Parkinson shared her excitement with The Independent at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards on Tuesday, 24 March.
The Bafta-winning actor, known for her work in The IT Crowd, praised the writing of the series.
She is taking over the character from Julie Walters, who previously played Molly Weasley in the Warner Bros. film adaptations.
