HB Torshavn vs Linfield Europa League preview, betting odds and more

Linfield are in the Faroe Islands for their latest Euro test this afternoon.

David Healy's Blues take on HB Torshavn for a place in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

Linfield lost out to Rosenborg in the Champions League qualifiers but their European adventure isn't over - yet.

Can they continued their journey with victory over HB Torshavn?

Here's what you need to know.

When and where is it?

The first leg between HB Torshavn and Linfield takes place on Tuesday, July 23 at the Gundadalur Stadium, 4.45pm kick-off (BST).

What are HB Torshavn like?

Founded in 1904, they are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the Faroes. They won the Faroe Islands Premier League (Effodeildin) last season. They play their home matches at the 5,000 capacity Gundadalur. Havnar Bóltfelag is Faroese for Harbour Football Club, with Havn coming from the name of the town of Tórshavn.

Betting odds

HB Torshavn 6/5

Linfield 2/1

Draw 11/5

What have they said?

Linfield boss David Healy: "It will be tough. People may be looking at this game on paper thinking we are only playing a team from the Faroe Islands but I'm certainly not doing that. I warned the players straight after the Rosenborg game in Norway last week that we won't be going into this match underestimating the opposition."

Who will the winners of this tie meet?

The winners will player either FK Sutjeska (Montenegro) or Apoel Nicosia from Cyprus.
