High Street agent Hays Travel has launched a discounted Covid test deal for holidaymakers.
The tests are applicable for travellers returning from abroad and must be taken within three days of their journey back to the UK in rules set out by the government.
Video appointments are included with the kits, so holidaymakers do not need to search for a local testing centre to take the pre-return tests.
Hays Travel has partnered with supplier Collinson Group and specialist staff help holidaymakers complete the test during a pre-booked video call. The result is promised within an hour, along with the fit-to-fly certificate by email.
Hays Travel said the test kits are available in the chain’s high street shops and are “already in huge demand” as holiday bookings continue to rise.
Jonathon Woodall, Hays Travel chief operating officer, said: “It takes the stress out of trying to find a testing centre while you’re on holiday; there’s help on hand via the video call, and Hays Travel customers can have a discount price of £33.60.
“We’re very pleased to be working with Collinson Group and to be able to offer our customers this additional support so they can enjoy their much-deserved holiday to the utmost.”
Holidaymakers must order thier test kits at least four days before departure to make sure it arrives on time.
Collinson also offers a range of pre-departure PCR testing, as well as day two and day eight testing kits.
