Hay fever symptoms remedy 'has given my son his life back'

Summer is a favourite time of year for many.

But for those with pollen allergies - the season can also bring on watery eyes, scratchy throats and itchy faces.

According to allergy.uk.org, hay fever affects between 10 to 30 percent of adults and up to 40% of children.

And its symptoms - including sneezing and coughing, a runny or blocked nose and an itchy throat - can be unbearable to those who suffer from it.

Supermarket remedies like antihistamines and nasal sprays are available but branded medicines can sometimes edge over the £5 price mark.

Luckily, one savvy shopping mum has recently shared with social media users a bargain hay fever relief product that she claims has changed her son’s life.

In the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, member Margaret McInnes posted: “Just a tip for anyone who suffers badly from hay fever.

“My son has tried everything going but these wipes gave him his life back.

“Amazon sells them for around £3.50 a pack but you can get them in The Range and Savers for 99p.

“The wipes are soaked in peppermint and tea tree oil so really soothe the skin and eyes and trap the pollen.”

The post gained more than 3.5K likes and attracted 7K comments.

One Facebook user commented: “I’m using them and they are amazing.”

With other users agreeing writing: “I use them all the time! They are amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough.”

The Nuage Hayfever Relief Wipes come in a 30-wipe pack and are suitable for 24-hour daily use on both the hands and face.

But how do the wipes work?

On Saver’s website - where a packet costs just 99p - the product description reads: “Natural oils in the wipes remove pollen and other irritants while remaining on your face to trap further pollen and irritants that are in the air.”

We shopped for the products but couldn’t find the item listed on The Range’s website.

Amazon has the wipes in stock but the cheapest option for one packet was £4.29.

On Saver’s website the popular product is already out of stock but you can click here to be notified when the in demand item returns.
