Hawthorn welcome back Chad Wingard, Jack Gunston and Will Day against GWS as they attempt to snap a four-game AFL losing run.
All three players missed the Hawks's loss to the Western Bulldogs but coach Sam Mitchell confirmed they would return as Hawthorn eye their first win at Giants Stadium in six attempts.
Day was sidelined through the AFL's health and safety protocols while Wingard and Gunston both endured difficult injury runs.
Gunston played the first nine games but injured his ankle against Richmond and then re-injured it on his return in round 12, missing another two matches.
Wingard has missed four games across the season through a combination of setbacks and returns from a calf injury.
Hawthorn have won four and lost 10 to sit 15th, one spot below the Giants on percentage.
Mitchell expects the Hawks to have their work cut out for them against the up-and-down Giants, who are out to arrest their own two-match losing run on Sunday.
Big forward Jesse Hogan has booted seven goals and averaged 6.5 marks across the past two weeks.
"An area we've got to make some improvement is our team defence, so it'll be a good challenge for us," Mitchell said.
"Our players have put together a pretty strong plan along with our coaching group, and we know we're going to have to restrict some of their strong ball movement and their ability to isolate some of their forwards one-on-one has been really strong.
"Jesse Hogan's been in some really form and their midfield bats really deep, so it's going to be a challenge."
