The Hawks used a 19-4 run to end the game and steal a 119-114 victory from the Bulls on Wednesday night at the United Center.
The Hawks trailed by 12 points late in the fourth quarter. They trailed by 10 points with under three minutes remaining and reeled off a 12-0 run, started by consecutive 3-pointers from Paul Millsap, Dennis Schroder and Tim Hardaway Jr. A Schroder layup to end the run gave the Hawks a 111-110 lead with 1:12 remaining, their first advantage of the game.
The Hawks put an exclamation point on the win when Kent Bazemore found Dwight Howard for an alley-oop dunk with 34 seconds left.
The Hawks (27-19) have won seven straight games over the Bulls.
Schroder led six Hawks in double-figure scoring with 24 points. He was followed by Millsap (21), Thabo Sefolosha (18), Hardaway (17), Bazemore (16) and Howard (16). Howard had a double-double with 12 rebounds.
The Bulls (23-24) were led by Jimmy Butler with a game-high 40 points. Dwyane Wade added 33 points.
