Haven currently has Easter breaks from £99 per family still up for grabs

Families can get away for a short break over Easter from just £33 a day.

Holiday parks giant Haven still has plenty of breaks available for when the school term comes to a close.

The holiday park firm not only has hundreds of caravans for punts to stay in, but themed activities and an abundance of entertainment on its parks.

Holidaymakers can either choose to hire a home and access to the entertainment venues, swimming pools and activities, or just the home.

The cheapest deals currently on offer are for the home only.

They include:

  • Three nights at Golden Sands Park in Lincolnshire for £118 for a family of four
  • Three nights at the Skegness resort in Lincolnshire for £99 for a family of four

  • Three nights at Combehaven in Sussex for £149 for a family of four

Being able to get away for just £33 a night over the Easter holidays is one of the best deals going, given quite how expensive holidays in the UK have become over recent years.

Shropshire is the cheapest place for an Easter break, new research in holiday homes available over the Easter break showed.

The average price of a week’s stay in a property sleeping up to six people in the county is £657 - nearly triple the per day rate of a Haven holiday.

If you’re after wilder hills, the Peak District is cheaper than many tourist hotspots: but you’ll typically pay £666 for a week’s stay. Meanwhile Herefordshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Lancashire also have below-average prices.

If you are hoping to get away on a break this year but Haven isn't floating your boat, fear not.
