Have your say on what Man City must do next after Champions League final defeat to Chelsea

Manchester City suffered defeat in their maiden Champions League final as they lost to Chelsea.

City were bidding to be crowned European champions for the first time but were unable to beat Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea side, who had also previously got the better of them in the FA Cup this season.

Kai Havertz's goal late in the first half proved to be the difference between the two sides as City failed to break their opponents down.

City huffed and puffed throughout, controlling possession, but, forced to play narrow, they were unable to create many clear-cut chances, with Chelsea looking to hit them on the counter-attack.

It means Pep Guardiola's wait for a third Champions League title goes on, with the City boss last lifting the trophy a decade ago with Barcelona.

The defeat continues City's frustrating record in the tournament, with the Champions League remaining the one major trophy out of reach since Sheikh Mansour took the club over.

Whilst it has been a successful season for City, lifting both the Premier League title and the Carabao Cup, the defeat ends the campaign on a downbeat note.

It is set to be an intriguing summer for the club, with Sergio Aguero set to depart and City on the lookout for a striker and a left-back.

Yet, after this defeat, is there anything else they should be looking to do in the summer?
