Manchester City could cap off a wonderful summer with a move for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The living legend continues to be linked with a move to City with new reports now claiming that an agreement between the two is close.
Ronaldo will of course return to Manchester 12 years after leaving rivals Manchester United for a then world-record fee of £80m. A fee City have already eclipsed this summer with the signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
Ronaldo was previously linked with a return to United earlier in this window, as well as to Paris Saint-Germain, as he attempts to leave Juventus after three years in Serie A. However, it looks like City is the likely destination as Ronaldo closes in on a Premier League return.
