Here at GuardianWitness towers we are still reeling from the news that Zac Goldsmith has his own campaign song. Supporters have crafted Zac Goldsmith Jeete Ga! (Zac Goldsmith Will Win!), which combines Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Mandarin, Bangla, and massively sinister lines like “Zac Goldsmith is everyone’s favourite leader” and “All the Bengalis will only vote for you”.
Only for you.
Now we want to hear your own London mayoral songs. We don’t mind which party’s candidate it is about, provided it passes the standard community guidelines. Whether it’s a country ballad about Sophie Walker, the Women’s Equality Party candidate, a rap about George Galloway, or an epic prog rock soundscape eulogising the policies of the Green party’s Sian Berry, we are most interested to hear what you come up with.
In the unlikely event that you actually send us your London mayoral election related tunes, we will put together an article of the most entertaining.
