Have you seen this dog? Popular Edinburgh salon owner makes a desperate plea to find missing pooch

The owner of a popular beauty salon in Edinburgh has made a desperate plea to find her much-loved dog after it ran off.

Rosie Fraser, who owns popular beauty salon That Rosie Glow in Edinburgh, has made a desperate plea on social media to find her missing pooch.

The flame-haired dog ran off from Polston Park in Tranent towards the direction of Meadowbank/Prestonpans.

Reeva the dog is female Hungarian Vizla Ginger who went missing from the East Lothian location on 16 July and was last spotted at the "A1 by Meadowmill recently".

Urging locals to share a missing dog poster of Reeva, Rosie said that she and her family are "in bits" over their pooch running off.

She said: "Reeva our ginger Vizsla has just run off from Polston Park Tranent towards the Heaugh/Meadowbank... please share and help us find her.

"She has never done this before

"Please can anyone help look for her? Turquoise collar with a tag and our number

"Last seen fields back of A1 by Meadowmill recently.

"She is very scared please do not chase her or make eye contact we are told just be calm and go low to the ground and try to coax her out with food or talking gently not calling her name.

"Please keep looking and sharing we are in bits."
