Have you seen Darcy? Cocker spaniel missing in Edinburgh after running away in Pilrig Park

The owners of a female cocker spaniel called Darcy have taken to Facebook to appeal for the dog's return after it ran off into Pilrig Park on 4 December.

Darcy's owner Veni posted on Facebook, saying:

"We just lost Darcy our dog! I lost hold of the flexi lead and she spooked and run away. She run into Pilrig park/Edinburgh around 22.15 on 4/12/19. She is small and black. She is a show cocker spaniel. Please help if you can. Police has been notified."

She also says she walked around the park 'several times' looking for the dog.

One person replied: " Nooo!! Such horrible news to wake up to. Hopefully the power of Facebook will do it's thing. Ring all the vets and rescue places that you can think of, to let them know. Sending you much love and strength. Keep us posted."

If you find Darcy, you can contact Veni via Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/veni.brading
