The owner of a 12 week old Akita puppy called Churchill has taken to Instagram to beg Edinburgh residents to keep an eye out for her missing dog.
Megan Burke posted two photos of Churchill to her Instagram story on 16 February, as Storm Dennis raged in the capital.
She said: "If you're out in Edinburgh, particularly Newhaven/Trinity, please keep an eye out for Churchill.
"My sweet Churchill is MISSING - 12 week old all white with black face Japanese Akita last seen in Newhaven. Please repost and contact if found. Reward."
The appeal was also shared on Twitter, where it has been retweeted over 300 times.
