Have you felt under pressure to break UK lockdown restrictions?

Boris Johnson has unveiled his exit plan to ease lockdown on Monday, which includes people being able to meet one person outside for activities such as a coffee or picnic, not just for exercise in England from 8 March. Outdoor gatherings of up to six people, or two households if this is larger, will not be able to meet in parks or gardens until 29 March.

Though most of the UK has been under lockdown restrictions since January, many of us have come under pressure – from family and friends – to break the rules.

We are looking to speak to people who have been pressured into breaking the lockdown restrictions. Perhaps you have been invited into someone’s house for a coffee? Have you asked people to bend rules?

Share your experiences

Were you comfortable being asked to do so? How did you navigate the situation? Do you feel some rules are difficult to stick to? What have been your experiences of bending rules designed to reduce the spread of Covid-19?
