When we asked Guardian readers about their experiences with mental health care in the UK, hundreds of people got in touch and highlighted some urgent problems with the system.
Now we’d like to ask you about your experiences with health services during an emergency mental health crisis. If you had to seek emergency help due to mental health, we would like to know what kind of response you received and how you were treated. Were you satisfied with how professionals reacted to you ? Did you feel listened to? Did you feel as though you were treated with compassion?
We’d like to hear from people who have direct experience with this or perhaps have a family member or a friend who has had to seek emergency care for mental health.
