Have you 'come out' about mental health problems at work?

In Wednesday's paper, Lisa Rodrigues CBE, who is stepping down as Chief Executive of the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, has spoken of her experience of openly discussing her mental health condition within a professional environment.

In 2012, a number of MPs stood up in parliament and spoke about their own mental health conditions during a Commons debate on the issue. Sarah Wollaston, Charles Walker, Kevan Jones and Andrea Leadsom all disclosed conditions they had faced; from postnatal depression to OCD, and spoke about how it affected their personal and professional lives.

We'd like to hear from readers about their experiences of mental health in a professional context. Have you ever 'come out' about your mental health problems at work? If so, did you feel the response was supportive? Or have you suffered discrimination as a result of being honest with colleagues? If you have experienced mental health difficulties before but have chosen not to disclose in the workplace, or when applying for a position, what has influenced your decision?
