Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a group of behavioural symptoms that include inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.
ADHD has been a controversial issue over the years. Some psychiatrists still don’t believe the condition exists, and others say people are overly diagnosed with the condition due to the influence of powerful pharmaceutical companies.
Share your experiences
We would like to hear from adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD, especially those who went undiagnosed as children. What was your life like before you were diagnosed? Did you experience hardship because of your behaviour? What treatment are you receiving now and has it helped?
You can share your experiences, anonymously if you prefer, in the form below. The form is encrypted and only the Guardian can see your responses. We will feature some of them in our reporting.
