Have you and your neighbours become friendlier since the UK lockdown?

Have you become more neighbourly?

Do you have a new back (or front) garden community – all kept at a respectable social distance, of course? Do you have over-the-garden-fence coffee mornings, chat across indoor landings in apartment buildings or shout down over balconies to downstairs neighbours? Does your street organise practical or emotional support for its vulnerable residents – or do something for local children?

If you have become more communal with your neighbours, what are the nicest things you have discovered about yourself and them? Do you think the new community vibe will continue when real-life resumes – and in what form?
