MUMBAI: The Shiv Sena on Friday raised doubts over the Centre’s claim of administering 100 crore Covid-19 vaccines in India.
Sena MP Sanjay Raut questioned, “Have we really administered 100 crore doses? If we have really done so then it is a matter of pride. But different figures are being given on vaccination. Some say only 33 crore people are fully vaccinated, and some say that many have not received their second dose. But an event is taking place in the country. It has become a new tradition to celebrate such things.”
He added, “If the Centre has decided to celebrate this kind of event, then let them, we will participate in it. It is our country after all.”
