Haunting last picture shows Migos rapper Takeoff 'minutes before his death'

Rapper Takeoff shared a chilling picture 'minutes before' he was killed in Houston.

The Migos rapper posted a snap stood outside the venue he was shot dead at on his Instagram story moments before his death.

It was posted alongside the lyrics and soundtrack to 'Stop Breathing' by Playboi Carti in what appears to be a haunting coincidence.

He later died at the age of 28 after being gunned down in the Texas city.

The musician, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, is said to have been playing a dice game with his bandmate Quavo when a fight broke out at bowling alley 810 Billiards & Bowling at 2.30am.

A shooter opened fire, killing Takeoff and injuring two others who were taken to hospital.

Law enforcement rushed to the scene, where Takeoff was pronounced dead.

A Houston Police spokesperson told reporters Migos rappers Takeoff and Quavo were at the scene but will not be releasing the formal identity of the male deceased yet.

Footage of Quavo trying to help his bandmate has been seen by TMZ, with the heartbroken star calling for help as his nephew Takeoff lies on the ground fatally wounded.

The publication reports Quavo wasn't injured in the shooting.

Takeoff is best known as the member of hip hop group Migos along with his uncle Quavo and first cousin once removed Offset, who is married to Cardi B.

Kirshnik was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia and raised by his mother, along with family members Quavo and Offset.

He started rapping in 2008 and he went on to release his first mixtape with Migos in 2011.

Two years later, the band rose to prominence with their single Versace and their debut solo album Yung Rich Nation was released in 2015.

A year later, Migos struck gold with their single Bad and Boujee. The song soared to number one and went on to be certified four times platinum.

The band released their second album in 2017, with it debuting at number one on the Billboard Us 200.

Culture II was released a year later and became Migos's second album to debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 199,000 equivalent units, including 38,000 copies sold, in its first week of release.

The Mirror has contacted Migos' representatives for a comment.
