'Haunted' I'm A Celebrity castle worker details spooky paranormal activity

I'm a Celebrity 's Gwrych Castle has been surrounded by rumours it is haunted by former resident, the Countess of Dundonald.

And the castle's Chairperson, Dr Mark Baker, appeared on Good Morning Britain on Friday, where he detailed the terrifying ways the late Countess makes her presence known.

He told presenter Richard Arnold: "I have seen a couple of strange things particularly on the marble staircase.

"I was with a couple of people and we turned around and saw this ball of light, it was quite strange.

The castle's Chairperson said he has seen some unexplainable spooky happenings (ITV)

"And people smell things like violet perfume, which is her favourite scent."

Richard then spoke over a montage of footage of the medieval-style camp set up for the celebs.

"All eyes will be on the boiler room, which is where most of the action will take place," he said.

"Gruelling chores, stoking the coals, cutting logs that they will have foraged in the local forests.

"All of course to keep warm, the living quarters themselves will at least be covered, because as Laura [Tobin] has pointed out, the weather over the next week or so is going to be far from clement, very wet and very damp."

Kate Garraway, who starred on the show last year, revealed she still wears her boots from her series when she was in the Australian jungle.

She explained they were incredibly comfortable now that she has broken them in - but warned they are impossible to dry off once they get wet.

"When those socks and those boots get wet, they do not get dry," she remarked.

Speaking to her former campmate Roman Kemp, Kate told him his socks were still at her house.

Kate kindly washed Roman's socks for him a while ago when he visited her house, and never gave them back.
