Dyfed-Powys Police were alerted to drug activity in the area after concerns were raised by people in the local community.

One man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine and cannabis and was released under investigation pending further inquiries.

Two other men were both found in possession of cocaine and are due to be interviewed by officers.

One witness who wished to remain nameless said: "It's a really quiet village so it's unusual to see police around but Saturday night the place was crawling with police cars."

"There were around four or five cars and sniffer dogs by Iscoed Road and near Sawel Terrace as you are coming in to the village," he said.
