Hate the Twitter redesign? Here's how to revert to the old desktop version

This month, Twitter has rolled out a huge redesign of its desktop platform, in the hopes of making it ‘faster, easier to navigate and more personalised.’

Unfortunately for Twitter , most users have slammed the update, with many urging the tech giant to revert to the old layout.

While this is pretty unlikely, thankfully one Twitter user has found a way to get back to the previous desktop verison.

Scott Bixby, a reporter at the Daily Beast, tweeted a video, showing the trick, which involves the Twitter Directory.

Sadly, many people who have managed to revert to the older version have noticed that the change is only temporary.

In a follow up tweet, Mr Bixby noted: “It works for a while and then you have to re-do it. The only permanent solution is to stop using Twitter and go about your life.”

However, if the new version is driving you mad, this should provide some temporary relief!
