Finance provider Social Investment Scotland (SIS) has appointed three new senior non-executive directors to their board.
Claire Treacy, Sheila Fazal and Collette Norval will join the company's eight-strong board and will support the delivery of SIS's new ten-year strategy or providing social entrepreneurs with the investment and support needed to create greater, more sustainable impact.
Treacy, who recently established finance consultancy Bealach Advisory, will chair the firm's Risk Committee. She has held several senior finance roles, most recently as CFO for Europe of Cromwell Property Group.
Fazal's appointment comes after a long career in the accountancy sector, where she worked at PwC and was also a part time CEO at Social Enterprise Accountancy Scotland CIC. She will chair SIS's Audit Committee.
The appointment of the trio now means the SIS's female board representation is now above 50%.
