It's clear that Greg Docherty made quite the impression at Easter Road.
So much so, that scores of Hibs fans have been on social media calling on the club to bring the 23-year-old back to the club on a longer term deal.
Hibs announced on Monday that the 23-year-old would be leaving to rejoin parent club Rangers after a short spell in Leith.
And when Docherty posted a thoughtful message on social media thanking them for making him feel so welcome, Hibs supporters wasted no time in making their own feelings known.
Irish Hibernian's Supporters Club posted: "Great to have you for the short time we did. Hopefully we can get you back permanently."
MennyKurphy added: "Wish you all the very best Greg. I'd love to see you with us permanently. On the park you're everything us Hibbys love to see. And great to see that you conduct yourself with dignity off the park. Wherever you go in your career, I wish you success."
Robert Donaldson said: "Greg, can I thank you very much for your passion and effort every time you pulled on the Hibs jersey. You were a credit to every coach and manager you've had in your career and your family. I wish you every success in your career but please, 'Haste Ye Back'."
