Has Rangers winger Ryan Kent dropped hint over his future with gesture in win against Celtic?

As Rangers stars celebrated wildly after beating Celtic, one man stood alone on the pitch.

Meanwhile, on the touchline Steven Gerrard saluted his players, embracing many of them as they walked off and down into the tunnel.

Director of football Mark Allen even made it into the dugout as Ibrox partied.

It was a joyous scene for the home fans who witnessed their team make it two victories over their city rivals in the same season.

Yes, Celtic are champions again but Gerrard, his players and the supporters are now looking forward to next season.

However, amid the scenes of bedlam, Ryan Kent performed a gesture that perhaps further reinforces the belief he will be around next season.

The on-loan Liverpool winger has already suggested he wants to remain at Ibrox. He has spoken of how being with Rangers has seen him fall in love with football again.

And after the final whistle blew at Ibrox, Kent made a beeline to the fans. With one arm raised aloft in the direction of the supporters, one hand rested on his heart and the club badge.
