'Has potential' Leeds United fans react to defender's proposed move to Sunderland

Leeds United fans don’t appear to be too disappointed to see Laurens De Bock depart.

The Belgian full-back looks set to join League One outfit Sunderland on a season-long loan, with the deadline for teams below the Championship set to close later today.

De Bock joined Leeds last year from Club Brugge, signing a four-year contract.

The 26-year-old international now looks set to drop down to League One as he looks to regain confidence with regular football.

And Leeds fans, by and large, aren't too disappointed to see him depart Elland Road - although some believed that the Belgian had potential when he was signed.

Here’s how they reacted to the De Bock news on Twitter.
