Has Marcelo Bielsa dropped this Leeds United selection hint ahead of Nottingham Forest clash?

Nottingham Forest will play host to Leeds Untied on Saturday as the pair lock horns once again in the race for promotion to the Premier League.

West Brom lead the way at the top of the table with Marcelo Bielsa's side just a point behind them, despite a run of form that has seen Leeds lose four of their last five games.

And now Fulham, Forest, Brentford and Bristol City are all breathing down their neck.

February will see the Elland Road club take on thee of those four sides in quick succession, starting with the Reds.

Deadline day arrivals Gaetan Bong and Nuno da Costa are both expected to play at least a small part in Saturday's game after both being ineligible to feature against Birmingham City on Saturday.

But Leeds have fresh faces of their own - and Bielsa has teased supporters that they could make their eagerly anticipated debut's this weekend after giving them valuable minutes for the club's Under-23s.

Both Ian Poveda and Jean-Kevin Augustin were allowed 45 minutes each during Monday afternoon's clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, with Augustin, snubbed by Bielsa in their defeat to Wigan, the headline name in the clash.

Leeds fans were furious to see Augustin left out during the weekend following his high-profile loan move from RB Leipzig with the Elland Road boss looking to get the forward up to speed before throwing him into the action.

And he was given a good runaround in South Yorkshire, before going down injured.

The RB Leipzig loanee, who is expected to make his move permanent for a record-breaking fee in excess of £17m next summer, eventually got back to his feet and was waved back on by the referee but did not return to full speed before he hobbled down the tunnel at half-time.

But the club have assured supporters that his injury is not serious and the change was planned before kick-off.

Teenager, Poveda is also yet to feature for Bielsa's side but could make his debut on Saturday with Leeds keen to write the wrongs from their defeat to Wigan Athletic last time out.
