Has Man Utd target Erling Haaland just dropped a huge hint about his January transfer?

Manchester United target Erling Haaland has appeared to drop a huge clue about his next club after posting a number of images of himself signing shirts on Instagram.

The £76m-rated RB Salzburg star is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s top target for the January window having scored 28 goals in just 22 appearances this season.

Reports last week revealed Solskjaer flew out to Austria for talks with the striker, but United face stiff competition from RB Leipzig, who on Tuesday confirmed a bid for Haaland.

And now United fans are speculating on social media after Haaland uploaded a picture of himself signing their famous red shirt to his Instagram story.

The 19-year-old also added several pictures of himself autographing other shirts, with Napoli, Salzburg and Leeds among them.

Notably, Haaland is wearing a different outfit in the image with a Manchester United shirt, and fans are suggesting he only posed for and posted the subsequent images to throw people off the scent.

Haaland posted the picture to his Instagram story on Tuesday

Borussia Dortmund are also involved in the scramble to sign Haaland, but speaking last week Solskjaer confirmed the player has made his decision.
