Has Joe Biden launched a beauty brand?

In the week we discovered that Donald Trump's hair set him back $70,000, we thought nothing else could shock us.

That was until news broke of a Joe Biden and Kamala Harris-endorsed beauty line, aptly named Biden Beauty.

Biden Beauty is launching with a Democrat-blue makeup sponge, which it's selling for £20, and will drop other products such as sweatshirts, tote bags and buttons, in the following weeks.

The most influential part of the new brand is that 100 per cent of the proceeds will be donated to the Democratic National Committee and the Biden/Harris presidential campaign.

The beauty brand's founder is reportedly keeping their identity private until the results of the presidential election are unveiled in November.

Its Instagram is already awash with meme-worthy phrases, including "America’s softest face is also its toughest" and "Let’s cancel out orange for good, the only way beauty knows how–with color-correcting blue."

The American presidential election will take place on November 3.
