Has Aaron Ramsey played his last game for Arsenal? Unai Emery's injury update after Napoli win

Aaron Ramsey may have played his last game for Arsenal after being forced out of their 1-0 Europa League quarter-final second leg win at Napoli with a suspected hamstring injury.

The Welsh midfielder, who is due to join Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season, came off immediately after stretching to reach in for a high tackle on Napoli's Piotr Zielinski.

Ramsey had been continuing his exceptional form of late in the Stadio San Paolo and his absence would be keenly felt by Arsenal over the remainder of the season, where they are competing for a top four berth in the Premier League and to win the Europa League.

Unai Emery admitted he was in the dark as to whether Ramsey will appear for Arsenal again. "It's a muscular injury," he said.

"Normally it's going to be some weeks out of the team.

"But he was in a very good moment and working very well. We have other players... we need every player."

Asked if Ramsey might have played his last game for Arsenal, Emery only said: "I don't know."

Ramsey, who has scored six goals and provided eight assists this season, has an unfortunate history with muscle injuries and Emery's predecessor Arsene Wenger often spoke of the need to carefully manage the 28-year-old's game time and fitness levels.

He was managing a groin injury earlier this month and has suffered six separate hamstring injuries since September 2014.
