CHANDIGARH: Mahendergarh turned out to be the only exception as the Covid free district of the state as Haryana on Wednesday reported 401 new cases and 532 recoveries during the day. No fatality was reported while 40,527 were given the vaccine dose.
With this the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 997376 cases, 984327 recoveries, 10620 deaths and 2406 active cases. Of the total active cases, 33 are hospitalized while rest in home isolation.
Gurugram reported highest 288 cases followed by 83 cases from Faridabad. Six cases each were reported from Bhiwani and Karnal while five cases each were reported from Panchkula and Rohtak districts.
Two cases each were reported from Nuh, Sonipat and Hisar districts while one case each was reported from Sirsa and Rewari districts.
Of the total vaccinations of the day, 9499 persons were given the first dose while second dose was given to 17959 persons. While 13069 were given the booster dose. The cumulative covid count of the state has gone to 42942331.
