CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Saturday reported 26 Covid-19 cases and two deaths.
1.50 lakh people got the vaccine jabs in the state while 28 new cases, two deaths and 27 recoveries were reported from across the state.
20 districts did not report any death while no fresh case was reported from 11 districts.
Significantly, in frist of the current situation, six students from Fatehabad were found to be infected with the virus. They have been isolated and health authorities have increased the testing and contact tracing there.
On vaccination front, of the total 1,50060 persons 98329 were given the first dose while 51731 were given the second dose. Cumulative vaccination coverage of the state has gone to 11809117.
On Covid front, Fatehabad reported highest 7 cases followed by four cases each from Gurugram, Karnal and Palwal districts. Two cases each were reported from Jhajjar, Yamunanangar and Rohtak districts.
While one case each was reported from Sonipat, Panchkula, Ambala and Kurukshetra districts.
One death each was reported from Bhiwani and Jhajjar districts.
