CHANDIGARH: Haryana reported 22 Covid-19 cases and 2 deaths on Sunday.
20 districts in the state did not report new deaths and 13 districts did not report new cases. The state also reported 45 recoveries during the day.
While 40,877 eople got vaccine jabs during the day. 25,525 got the first dose while 15,352 got the second dose. While overall coverage of vaccination reached 11019660 .
The cumulative Covid tally of the state reached 76,9739 cases, 75,9405 recoveries, 9,619 deaths and 715 active cases. Of the total active cases, 171 are in home isolation and rest are hospitalized, said the health officials.
The covid positivity rate of the day was reported to 0.09% and the positivity rate of the second wave declined to 9.90%. Gurugram reported the highest 7 cases followed by three each in Palwal and Faridabad districts. Two cases each were reported from Karnal, Rohtak and Yamunanagar districts. While one case each was reported from Hisar, Panipat and Sirsa districts respectively.
Recovery rate had increased to 98.66% while cumulative fatality rate remained stable at 1.25%. One death each was reported from Hisar and Bhiwani districts. As many as 21248 persons were tested during the day. With this, the testing rate had gone to 423141 tests per million per day and the overall testing in the state reached 10726632 .
