Haryana newlyweds die in Rajasthan's Churu accident

JAIPUR: A newlywed couple was killed after a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck on a highway in Churu district on Thursday night.

SHO (Sardar Sahar) Balraj Man Singh said the victims were identified as Vishal Choudhary (25) and his wife Neha (24).

"The couple had got married a couple of days ago and they were residents of Karnal in Haryana," Singh said.

Police said the incident took place when the couple was travelling through the Sardarshahar-Dungargarh highway when their car collided with a truck near the Bhojasar bus stand.

Police have learned that Vishal and Neha had got married about 10 days ago, and they were travelling to Haryana.

Police said they are trying to find out the truck driver. An official said the car was almost unrecognizable because it was reduced to a jumble of crushed metal.
