CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police on Friday claimed to have seized 263 gram of heroin from a car in Fatehabad district and arrested two persons in this connection.
The estimated value of the seized drug is around Rs 25 lakh.
Haryana Police spokesperson said that during the initial probe, the accused revealed that they had brought the contraband from a Nigerian in Delhi for supplying it in the Sirsa area.
The accused — Vishal alias Laadi of Shahpur Begu, Sirsa and Sunil Kumar alias Sheelu of Badopal — were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act case.
The crackdown was made by a team of the anti-narcotic cell.
