Haryana cop held for taking Rs 20,000 bribe

CHANDIGARH: Haryana state vigilance bureau on Wednesday arrested an exemptee sub-inspector (ESI) posted with the crime investigation department in Ambala when he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.

A bureau spokesperson said ESI Kulwinder Singh had allegedly taken the bribe for delaying a raid and an arrest in a case registered at the Saha police station.
