CHANDIGARH: Upbeat over the civic body results, Haryana BJP president Om Prakash Dhankar on Thursday asked the newly elected presidents and chairpersons of municipal councils and municipal committees to ensure that benefit of government schemes reach out to the last person of the society.
Dhankar, who was chairing the programme organized to mark the induction of heads of civic bodies elected on BJP tickets, also asked them to ensure to be ready for the people of their constituency and to work with close coordination of elected representatives of the area while rising above the party lines.“Now you are all the front of triple engine government and have to work as catalyst between government as well as public.
