Engelmayer said that he and Weinstein signed a deal "in the past few days." "We will be working with him," Engelmayer said.
Weinstein engaged Sitrick _ a crisis communications agency _ in October after a deluge of women accused him of sexual harassment and assault.
Sitrick confirmed to the Daily News that it had severed ties with Weinstein, but declined to say why.
More than 100 women have accused Weinstein of sexual assault and harassment _ allegations that led to his firing by The Weinstein Company, which he co-founded in 2005.
He is under investigation by law enforcement and has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
