Harvey Weinstein doc viewers 'feel sick' as alleged rape victim gives chilling account

Viewers of a shocking Harvey Weinstein documentary were left 'feeling sick' after hearing the horrifying accounts of his alleged victims.

The disgraced Hollywood producer was the subject of 'Untouchable: The Rise and Fall of Harvey Weinstein', which aired on BBC Two on Sunday night.

Viewers struggled to watch as Hope D'Amore revealed chilling details of the night she alleges Weinstein raped her in New York in 1978.

Emotional Hope broke down in tears and found it difficult to speak about the night in question - and was praised for her brave honesty.

According to Hope, Weinstein said "do you really want to make me an enemy for five minutes of your time" before the alleged sexual assault.

Taking to Twitter , one viewer said: "Boy oh boy #Untouchable is an awful subject beautifully done. Hats off to everyone brave enough to be involved. Be under no illusion, they’re brave."

"These woman are really really strong, credit to you all! #HarveyWeinStein #Untouchable," added another.

A third said: "This is already making me feel sick #HarveyWeinstein #Untouchable

"Oh god I’m watching #Untouchable and send hugs to all the women who are also watching and finding it difficult," said a fourth.

Weinstein, 67, has always maintain any sexual activity he engaged in was consensual.

Hope was a psychology and philosophy student at the University of Buffalo at the time when she went on a trip to New York City with Weinstein.

She explained they stayed at a hotel near Central Park during his business trip - but discovered at the front desk there was a mistake and only one room.

After telling Weinstein to sleep on the chair, Hope said she got into bed and he got in naked next to her.

Holding back the tears, Hope said: "He just pushed and pushed and…then eh just..he’s huge. I weigh about 100 pounds. I probably weighed about 110 then.

"I don't know how to explain it. I just thought if I just shut up…it’ll be over in a few minutes."

There was then a very long pause as Hope gathered her thoughts.

"I didn’t want anything from him. I didn’t hit him. I didn’t try to scratch his eyes out," added Hope.

Shaking her head, she continued: "But I said no and I pushed him away. More than once. And then I just stopped."

As she started to cry, Hope said: "I was so frightened I went back to Buffalo. I didn’t tell anyone I knew. He used to say he owned the cops in Buffalo as they worked the concerts.

"He had influence. a lot of money, he did a lot of advertising in newspapers. Nobody would believe anything I said. Nobody was going to believe me."

Very distressed, Hope added: "It’s the collateral damage what it does to relationships with friends and people you love and they don’t know why. It just…it steals something."
