A popular department store chain is finally reopening its branch in Bristol city centre after six months of closure.
Harvey Nichols in Cabot Circus is one of the last shops in Bristol Shopping Quarter to reopen following the national shutdown of all non-essential stores in March.
While major retailers including Primark, Next and House of Fraser opened the majority of their stores across the UK in June, Harvey Nichols decided to keep most of its branches closed, only opening a handful of outlets between June and August.
But the luxury chain's shop in Bristol city centre, which is also home to a bar and restaurant, will reopen on Monday, October 5.
The Second Floor Bar will showcase a new seasonal menu from Monday, while the Second Floor Restaurant will open later in October.
There will be a number of safety measures in place throughout the store to keep in line with Government guidelines, including a limit on how many customers are allowed in at a time, enhanced cleaning regimes and social distancing measures.
