Fabinho, Roberto Firmino and Andy Robertson all return for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp makes three changes for the visit of Chelsea.
Fabinho missed last week’s win over Burnley following the death of his father, while Robertson is yet to feature this season after picking up an ankle injury in the friendly against Athletic Bilbao earlier this month.
Firmino makes his first start of the campaign also, as he returns for Diogo Jota who had started both games so far against Norwich and Burnley.
It’s the first time Klopp has selected a back five of Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip and Robertson since a 1-1 draw at Manchester United in October 2019.
Elsewhere, Harvey Elliott retains his place in midfield alongside Fabinho and captain Jordan Henderson as Klopp gives the 18-year-old just his second Premier League start as a Liverpool player.
