Harvey Elliott defends Leeds' Struijk

Harvey Elliott suffered a horrific ankle injury in Sunday’s 3-0 win over Leeds United.

But the severity of it hasn’t stopped the midfielder from defending Pascal Struijk for the challenge.

Struijk was shown a straight red card for his lunge and Elliott will undergo surgery in the coming days.

However, the 18-year-old has since has put the entire incident down to a ‘freak accident.’

Why Konate has been made to wait

Liverpool made one major signing this summer, paying £36million for defender Ibrahima Konate.

Konate has yet to make an appearance for the club and there was one moment in particular against Leeds which showed fans why.
