Harvey Elliott receives huge FIFA 22 rating boost as full stats confirmed

Ahead of the launch of FIFA 22 on Friday, October 1 2021, EA Sports has released the official player ratings for the Ultimate Team game mode.

Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott has been given a huge upgrade for FIFA 22, after an impressive loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season that saw the 18-year-old break into Jurgen Klopp's first team to start the 2021/22 campaign.

Elliott scored seven goals and registered 12 assists whilst on-loan at Blackburn, making 43 appearances across all competitions for the Championship side.

However, after a promising start under Klopp this season, Elliott suffered a severe leg injury against Leeds that will sideline him in the immediate future, but the Reds are hopeful that he will play again before the end of the season.

Due to his brilliant loan spell at Blackburn last season, EA Sports have rewarded Elliott with a significant boost to his FIFA 22 player item as his rating has increased from a 65 overall to a 73 overall rating.

So, how does Elliott's FUT 21 card compare to his new and improved FUT 22 player card?

Elliott's FUT 22 card has been upgraded by eight overall, with all of his card stats receiving significant boosts except for his defending stat.

The 18-year-old winger has 78 pace on FIFA 22, three stat points higher than his FUT 21 card, whilst his shooting has also been boosted by a massive nine stat points, along with Elliott's passing getting an even bigger boost of 12 stat points.

Elliott's dribbling and physical attributes have also been significantly boosted, with his dribbling improving by six stat points from 70 out of 100 to 76, whilst his physical has been upgraded by four stat points from 37 to 41 out of 100.

Elliott has also been upgraded from three-star skill moves to four-star skill moves, whilst retaining his four-star weak foot, whilst also being rewarded for his brilliant performances last season by earning the finesse shot trait and outside foot shot trait, along with his existing flair trait.

As for the young Red's in-game stats, Elliott's finishing, shot power, positioning, sprint speed, short passing, curve and ball control have all been vastly improved, whilst he also has an impressive 87 agility and 86 balance, which is higher than many gold cards in FIFA 22.

What do you think of Elliott's FIFA 22 player rating? Let us know in the comments!

FIFA 22 will be the latest game within EA's popular FIFA video game franchise, which will be released worldwide on Friday, October 1, 2021, with the game available on Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Stadia and PC.
