Harvey Elliott has stressed that he is prepared to play anywhere within the Liverpool team in order to earn first-team opportunities this season.
The 18-year-old earned rave reviews for his performance in yesterday's friendly with Athletic Bilbao, during which the youngster came close with a fine effort that struck the woodwork.
Excitement surrounding the Fulham academy graduate has only been building following his successful loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season and he is now determined to take the next step in his career.

Liverpool have one final pre-season fixture to play before their Premier League season gets underway at Norwich City, and Elliott wants to be a part of the team's journey during the 2021/22 campaign.
Speaking ahead of yesterday's contest, he said: "Anywhere I get told to play, I will play. As long as I have the badge on my chest, that is all that matters."
Elliott was deployed as part of a midfield three versus Bilbao, as opposed to his typical position on the wing, and showcased his ability to manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds' boss is confident in Elliott's ability to become more of a versatile option for the team and explained the though process behind this experiment.
"He can play different positions, there’s absolutely no doubt about it," Klopp told liverpoolfc.com.
"But in the pre-season we wanted to see him just in a deeper role because for a young player you have to learn a lot of things when you are a bit more outside and you get the ball from time to time."
Elliott has made a total of nine first-team appearances for the club since joining from Fulham in 2019 and became the youngest player to ever start a competitive match for the Reds (16 years and 174 days) versus MK Dons in September 2019.
