Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliot produced yet another impressive performance for Blackburn Rovers as they drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day.
The 17-year-old provided the assist for Joe Rothwell's equaliser with less than quarter of an hour remaining as Rovers maintained their play-off hopes against one of the Championship's best sides this season.
Elliott has featured heavily for the Lancashire outfit since arriving on loan from Liverpool during the summer, claiming four goals and five assists in the process.
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray waxed lyrical about the midfielder earlier this month after his brilliant strike against league leaders Norwich City.
“He’s a wonderful talent, he’s a brilliant individual to work with as well," Mowbray told the club website.
“I tell the team to give him the ball, much like I did with Bradley Dack before he got his injury."
His latest contribution once again sparked excitement from Reds fans on Twitter, with some supporters backing him to rise to the highest levels of the game in good time.
